Time and Motion Studies

Our Consultants retail experience has allowed us to gather some of the best practices in the industry for many aspects of labor management and efficiencies.  We now offer a service were we review with your team the current policies and procedures.  We then take this information and complete a sample time and motion study of the area under review.  We then take this data and compare it against the best practices and come back with recommendations that include but are not limited too:

- Need additional automation

- Policy is out dated and provides sample policy

- Need additional training in these sections and here is some samples

- Move this section or equipment

Our final recommendations are always provided with a cost or expected return of labor hours or dollars if they are implemented.  This aspect of our businesses has produced some of the highest returns for the price of our services.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Most of the Retail Industry has data either internal or external but very few use it as a competitive advantage.  Our company helps you realize how to use data moving forward and how to use it to gain market advantages.  How you ask?

- Contract negotiations

- Labor Management

- Inventory Levels

- Theft / Shrink

- Performance reviews

- Product assortment

We use Microsoft Office Tools to provide these services so we can also provide training and documentation for your staff on how to provide, analysis and present data moving forward.

Inventory Management

The average retailer carries 12% more inventories then needed.  Why?

- How contracts are written

-Types of vendors being used

-Lack of data analysis showing what is and is not selling

-Lack of Home office controls

Our company has helped retailers find out the where they are today and how they can reduce that inventory which is capital just sitting.  We usually can help increase the bottom line by a minimum of 3% by reducing inventory and getting the correct product mix in your stores for your customers.  The Right Product and the Right time at the Right Price results in repeat customers.
